No, cursors.dev does not steal/sell data, does not do hidden data farming, or anything of that sort. Its only purpose is to serve as an open library for people looking for cursors. Favorites and site settings stay in your browser. The only stats collected are aggregate page and cursor interaction counts, not personal identifiers, and they are only used to understand site usage and calculate the trending and top cursors.
A good starting place is Piskel. It is free and simple for pixel work. Use a 100x100 canvas, and be sure to use the "Align image to center" option to make sure your cursor is perfectly centered before uploading it to Roblox. Double check to see if the decal ID (asset ID) is public when uploading it to Roblox. Then submit your cursor on the submissions panel.
Approvals are sporadic but usually expect it to be published by every Tuesday. If your cursor was rejected, it's most likely because the decal ID (asset ID) is privated. Make sure the decal ID is public.
